Shimon Wolf, a Certified Public Accountant, is the managing member of Wolf Maryles & Associates, L.L.C. He established this firm in October 2000.  Prior to its formation Shimon was a managing director in the Executive Tax Department of Oppenheimer & Co., Inc., a Wall Street brokerage and investment-banking firm.  He provided a comprehensive tax and financial management advisory service to the top executives of Oppenheimer.  This service encompassed income tax, financial and estate planning, cash flow management, monitoring of investments, establishment of partnerships to facilitate group investing and a full range of tax compliance for individuals, trusts, partnerships and charitable foundations.  Shimon has also been associated with national and regional CPA firms as an auditor, tax manager and partner.   

Shimon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He was graduated from Yeshiva University with a BA in Economics and earned two MBA’s from the Bernard M. Baruch College one each in Accounting and Taxation.  He has served on several committees of the NYS Society of CPA’s and is currently serving on the Estate Planning, Taxation of Financial Instruments and Transactions, Investment Management, and Relations with the Internal Revenue Service committees.  He is a member of the New York Tax Study Group.  He has published articles in The CPA Journal, lectured for the State Society and was an adjunct lecturer in Accounting at Kingsborough Community College.  He is a board member of his local synagogue.
